Are there any programs for retirees?
Yes, an incentive Belize offers is the QRP program; anyone over 45 years or older can become a Qualified Retired Person. If you qualify, your personal effects can be imported free of duties and taxes. Additionally, you will be exempt from paying taxes/duties on all income/receipts from sources outside of Belize including income from work performed or investments.
Is Belize a good country for investment?
